Third-seeded Bears Enter Tournament With Confidence

MATCH NOTES: Big Sky Conference tournament

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW:

• The Bears, playing in their third straight Big Sky Conference volleyball tournament, will first look to make it 3-0 this season against Sacramento State.
  

• Northern Colorado swept the Hornets at home this seaon and then defeated them in Sacramento 3-2 -- one of only two home defeats for Sac. State this season.

• A quarterfinal win would earn the Bears a date with second-seeded Portland State. Northern Colorado split the season series with the Vikings.

• If all other seeds hold, Northern Colorado would face top-squad Eastern Washington in the final. The Bears split with them this year, too.
