KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Seniors Natalie D'Adamio, Tara Rickenbach, and Danielle Birdsall earned a spot on yet another award list thanks in part to their work in the classroom. This time the seniors were honored to the NSCAA Women's Scholar All-West Region team.

"It's a great honor for those players who show their dedication both on and off the field," Head Coach Tim Barrera said. "Also to have the most Big Sky selections on the second team is something special."

Both D'Adamio (Littleton, Colo.) and Rickenbach (Gilbert, Ariz.) were named to the Scholar All-West Region second team while Birdsall (Broomfield, Colo.) was selected to the Scholar All-West Region honorable mention team.

D'Adamio maintained a GPA of 3.58 while studying mathematics. Rickenbach held a 3.89 GPA in business management. The two student-athletes make up half of the Big Sky selections to the second team.

Birdsall was the lone Bear and one of eight Big Sky athletes selected to the honorable mention team. She was able to finish her degree in business management with a 3.93 GPA.
