Northern Colorado vs Portland State
Northern Colorado will take on Portland State for the sixth time in school history and will be looking to beat the Vikings for the first time ever, as Portland State holds the series lead 5-0. The game is also the Big Sky home opener for the Bears. Last year, the Vikings beat the Bears in Portland 3-2 in a tightly contested match.

Portland State comes into the weekend with an overall record of 6-7-1, but sits atop the Big Sky standings with a 2-0-0 mark. The Vikings are the defending Big Sky champions, finishing last season with a conference record of 4-1-2.

Northern Colorado vs Sacramento State
The Bears play host to the Hornets on Sunday, Oct. 17, as the two teams face off for the sixth time. Sacramento State holds the advantage in the series, 4-0-1. The Bears will be looking to avenge last year’s 1-0 home loss to the Hornets.

The Hornets are tied with Portland State for first in the Big Sky after the first weekend of conference play, having won both their matches. Overall, the team owns a 5-6-1 overall record. Last year, the Hornets finished third in the Big Sky with a 3-2-2 conference mark.
