Women's basketball tops Columbia 71-51

The Bears scored the first eight points of the game with two three pointers from Jaime Schroeder and never looked back with a final score of 71-51. The team reached a season high in three pointers and assists and it also marked the second time
Senior center Danielle Hagen tied her career high for assists with six and made her 600th rebound in the first half of the game. Junior guard Jamie Schroeder had her second double-double of her career and led the team with a career high of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Hagen and freshman guard Kate Kevorken both posted 12 points.
Sophomore guard Lizzie Cooper had a career game topping her season and career highs in field goals (2), three pointers (2), points (10), assists (5), blocks (1) and minutes played, playing a total of 38 minutes. She tied her career high in rebounds.
