Northern Colorado's Whitley Cox has earned Big Sky Player of the Week honors for games played the week of Dec. 21-28. The award is the second straight for the senior guard and she becomes the third player in Northern Colorado history to earn the award (Danielle Hagen, Courtney Stoermer).

Cox added seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks in the win over the Rams. She went 7-of-19 from the floor, and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. She also had a 3-pointer.

The native of Las Vegas, Nev., leads the conference in scoring with 17.2 points per game this season. She has notched 71 total points in Northern Colorado's last three home games.
