This week Northern Colorado soccer had a second player awarded Big Sky Player of the Week in senior Megan Bellendir.

Bellendir was a key figure in the Bears two wins over the weekend in the first Clarion Inn Northern Colorado Classic.

In the first game against Rider, Bellendir helped the Bears shut out the Broncs 4-0.

The defensive player also was integral in holding off the Oregon State offense in the final game of the tournament. The Bears came out on top 1-0 in the match against the Beavers to tie the series at 1-1.

For her efforts in the tournament Bellendir was named MVP on the All-Tournament team.
