Soccer Falls Against Sacramento State
Northern Colorado closed out the first weekend on Big Sky action
Sunday falling to Sacramento State 4-0. This loss drops the Bears
to 5-10-0 (0-2-0 BSC) on the season.
The Hornets came out quickly and scored the first goal of the
game only one minute into the match with an unassisted goal from
Erin Tarantino. Five minutes later the score was increased to 2-0
when Sacramento State's Kim Kemper received the pass from Ashley
Forbes.
The score remained at 2-0 going into the second half when in the
58th minute Paige Tucker increased the Hornets lead to
3-0.
It was Danielle Holloway that recorded the final goal of the day
putting the final score of the game at 4-0.
The Bears return to action next weekend for the final home games
of the season facing Idaho State on Oct. 17 and Weber State on Oct.
19 at Jackson Stadium.
