UNC then struggled on Sunday suffering a pair of losses to North Dakota (2-0) and South Dakota State (3-1). The Bears sit at 3-4 in the NCC action.
BEARS LOSE A ROSTER PLAYER: Sophomore transfer Lindsay Haun has voluntariy quite the softball team for personal reasons. Haun was leading the team in batting with a .350 average and 17 runs scored. Haun transferred to UNC from Colorado State.
FINALLY SOME SUPPORT: Senior pitcher Cristin Dumler went into last week's doubleheader against CU-Colorado Springs with a 3-8 overall record. UP NEXT: After this weekend's NCC action the Bears' regular season will be complete. UNC will then compete in the NCC postseason championship on May 2-3 at a site to be determined.
