Softball Drops A Pair To Regis
The University of Northern Colorado softball team dropped a doubleheader to Regis University on Sunday at the UNC Softball Field in Greeley. Regis took game one, 3-0, and held on for a 6-3 win in game two.
The Bears' overall record falls to 7-9 overall, while Regis moves to 10-16 on the season.
GAME ONE

Regis starting pitcher Jennifer Hayashi kept the UNC offense at bay in game one as she tossed a complete game shutout. Hayashi limited UNC to only six hits.
UNC's Erin Peterson tallied a pair of hits in the opening contest.
Regis scored a single runs in the first, third and seventh innings. Stephani Miller took the loss and dropped to 2-4 on the season.
GAME TWO

UNC 3
UNC's offense continued to struggle in the nightcap as Regis scored a 6-3 victory. UNC outhit the Rangers, 13-9, but could not push across the key runs to keep the game close.
Erin Peterson tallied three hits for the Bears, including a pair of doubles. Stephani Miller, Lisa Schol and Rachel Van Hook each had two hits for the Bears.
Cristin Dumler suffered the loss and dropped to 3-4 on the season.
