THE BEARS FACTS
The Northern Colorado basketball team returns six players from last year's team - Matt Kline, Sean Taibi, Dwayne Birden, Kirk Archibeque, Cory Lowe and Thanasi Panagiotakopoulos. Boyle did a good job of recruiting in a short time span and brought in eight newcomers for 2006-07, including seven freshmen.
The exhibition game will be a tune-up for the Bears who will open the regular season on Nov. 11 at Ball State. That road trip also includes a trip to Big Ten foe Purdue. The Bears will open the home regular season on Nov. 17 when they host Colorado-Colorado Springs as part of a doubleheader with the women's team.
