Men's Basketball Releases 2007-08 Schedule

2007-08 Men's Basketball Schedule

Greeley, COLO. -- University of Northern Colorado head men's basketball coach Tad Boyle today announced the schedule for the 2007-08 season.

 

The men host an exhibition game on Sunday, Nov. 4 against Colorado School of Mines and then open the regular season at the Air Force Classic on Nov. 9-10. The Bears will face VMI in the opener and then either Air Force or Dartmouth on Saturday. NC also plays a home-and-home with the Denver Pioneers and will face in-state competition Colorado State at Butler-Hancock on Dec. 1 in a game that will be televised on Altitude Sports.

 

"This is an extremely challenging schedule for the state of our program," said Boyle. "One we'll face with tremendous optimism. Our players and coaches are both excited about the challenges that lie ahead."

 

On the slate, Northern Colorado will face two NCAA teams (Gonzaga, Weber State) as well as two NIT teams (Air Force, San Diego State), plus will play tough road games at Iowa, Oregon State and Portland and the Big Sky Conference schedule.
