GREELEY, Colo. -- Now that the presents are unwrapped, it's time for Northern Colorado men's basketball to get back to business.

The Bears (10-3, 1-1 Big Sky), fresh off destroying San Jose State last Monday night with a school-record 18 three-pointers, will get back into action at 7:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, with a much-anticipated contest against the Denver Pioneers (9-3, 2-0 Sun Belt) inside Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion.

A certain level of bragging rights are on the line in this one, as both teams have risen to the top of most of the state's collegiate basketball discussions. DU brings the second-best shooting percentage in the country into the game (53 percent), while Northern Colorado enters with the 10th-most free-throws made in the country (243) and 18th-most three-pointers (107).
