SOME STORY
LINES
- Northern Colorado is looking for just its second win against
Weber State since beginning play with the Wildcats in 2006-07. The
Bears, who defeated the Wildcats 55-52 last season in Greeley, are
1-1 all time at home vs. Weber State.
- Northern Colorado is also looking tonight to avenge a
heartbreaking 88-84 overtime loss to Weber State earlier this
season. The Bears were up 12 with four minutes to go in regulation
in that one and later up seven with 46 seconds left.
- The Bears finished 4-4 in February last season, which was the
school’s first non-losing February since going 5-4 in
February 1992. Entering the home stretch of the BSC regular season,
NC knows another solid February is in order.
- And finally, tonight’s game offers a stark contrast in
styles. Northern Colorado enters with one of the Big Sky’s
most explosive offenses (70.4 ppg - second), while Weber State
comes in with a staunch defense (67.5 - second).

ABOUT THE
WILDCATS
- So far this season, Weber State has been the cream of the crop
in the Big Sky Conference. The Wildcats have lost just once in nine
BSC games, yet they only lead the league in two team categories, FT
pct., and defensive rebounds.
- The Wildcats feature six players averaging 8.5 points or more
in Kellen McCoy (13.4), Damian Lillard (10.4), Daviin Davis (10.0),
Steve Panos (9.9), Kyle Bullinger (9.3) and Nick Hansen (8.5).
McCoy and Davis are the only seniors.
- Lillard, a true freshman, has been a big part of Weber
State’s game plan this year after averaging nearly 30 points
per game last year at Oakland (Calif.) High School. He is second at
WSU in FGAs (184) and first in FT percentage (.865, 45-52).
