OGDEN, Utah -- Can Montana become the first home team to win this season on the Altitude Sports & Entertainment Big Sky Conference Game of the Week?

Find out Sunday, as the Northern Colorado Bears enter Dahlberg Arena looking for a sweep of their Montana road swing.

Northern Colorado upended Montana State 65-55 in Bozeman on Thursday to move to 4-3 in the league. Montana, winners on the road over Eastern Washington on Wednesday, is also 4-3 in league.

So far, the road teams have won the first three contests in the 2009 Game of the Week series.

Sunday’s coverage begins at 2 p.m. Mountain on Altitude Sports & Entertainment and Comcast Sports Net Northwest. Phil Buck will call the game with former UM player Mat Seidensticker handling color commentary.

Altitude is available on DirecTV channel 681, Dish Network channel 410, and many cable outlets throughout a 10-state area, including Montana, Utah, Idaho and Colorado. Comcast Sports Net Northwest is available in the Portland, Ore., area. It will air tape-delay again on Altitude starting Monday morning at 4 a.m. Mountain, and again at 1 p.m. Mountain.

Montana, which is 8-1 at home this season, is led by guard Anthony Johnson. The junior college transfer has scored in double figures in eight straight games, and is averaging a league-best 22.6 points per game in conference play.

Northern Colorado, winners of three of its last four games, is led by sophomore guard Devon Beitzel, who averages 12.9 points per game. Senior forward Jabril Banks averages 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Montana is 4-0 against Northern Colorado since the Bears joined the Big Sky in 2006-07.
This is the fourth of nine Big Sky men’s basketball games that will be televised this season on Altitude. Next Sunday league-leading Portland State battles Montana State in Bozeman.
