Vincent Jackson Selected in 2nd Round of NFL Draft by San Diego Chargers

Former University of Northern Colorado wide receiver Vincent Jackson became the school's highest drafted player in the National Football League on Saturday when the San Diego Chargers selected him in the second round.

Jackson was the 61st player taken in the draft. The highest previous round a UNC player had been drafted was the fourth round when the Pittsburgh Steelers picked Aaron Smith in the 1999 draft.
