GREELEY -- Northern Colorado Athletics announced today that its baseball season-opening doubleheader against Regis, scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, has been postponed. Officials from Northern Colorado and Regis are working together to reschedule the games, with one potentially being played within the next week.

Snow in the northern Colorado area has affected much of the University of Northern Colorado campus and has left Jackson Field unplayable for the doubleheader between the Bears and Rangers.

Northern Colorado, which split four games last weekend in Lubbock, Texas, at Texas Tech's Brooks Wallace Memorial Classic, doesn't have any more scheduled home games until it welcomes in South Dakota State on March 29.
