NC Announces Changes To Several Sports Schedules

GREELEY, Colo. - Due to a snowstorm that blew through Northeastern Colorado on Thursday, several University of Northern Colorado sporting events and practices have been changed.

The baseball team's four-game series against Houston Baptist has been postponed indefinitely while the two teams look at other dates. The Huskies were unable to get a flight into Denver in order to play this weekend.

The women's tennis team, scheduled to host Montana on Saturday at 10:00 am, has been moved to Work Out West at 11:30 am.

The track & field team, scheduled to compete at the annual Rob Upton Invitational in Fort Collins, will still compete however events are pushed back two hours. Field events will now begin at 11:00 am with running events starting at 1:00 pm.

The football team will not hold practice today and or on Saturday.

The softball team, scheduled to compete at Colorado State on Saturday, will now face the Rams on Sunday. Game time is set for noon.

Also, the men's golf team was supposed to compete at the Shocker Classic, hosted by Wichita State on Monday and Tuesday, but it has been canceled.
