Position Title: Assistant Director for Compliance. Position # E99635

Qualifications and Experience: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience in field. Experience in athletics compliance or comparable experience. Ability to multi-task, self-motivated, highly organized, attention to detail, research capabilities, effective communication skills, experience and knowledge of NCAA rules. Preferred: Master's Degree/Law Degree. Experience in Division I athletics compliance. Minimum of one to three years in an athletics compliance office. Knowledge of NCAA Compliance Assistant internet, Academic Performance Program, NCAA LSDBi, word applications, university admissions/registrar systems.

Position Description/Duties: Central purpose is to assist with duties and responsibilities of a NCAA Division I athletics compliance program. This includes working with university departments, external individuals, and departmental staff to ensure rules and regulations are met for applicable conferences, the NCAA, applicable federal and state regulatory bodies, and the institution.

Salary and Benefits: Salary range is $24,000-26,000. Benefits include health, life, and dental insurance as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement programs.

Position Title: Student-Event Team

Job Description: Assist with the game-day operations of athletic events for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, Volleyball,  Soccer, Wrestling, Baseball and various special events.

Job Functions include marketing, game production, ticket taking, ushering, setup, teardown and other duties as assigned.

Job assignments are available for Fall and Spring semesters and Winter Break.

Qualifications: 

  • Registered UNC students with Work Study funding for the 08-09 year
  • Able to work nights and weekends
