Blue & Gold Club Brochure
What is the
Blue & Gold Club?
Since 1982, the Blue & Gold Club has allowed
alumni and friends of the University of Northern Colorado to
partner with UNC Athletics. Your participation will directly affect
the lives of 500 young men and women who wear the Blue & Gold.
In 2007, NC successfully completed the transition of all 19
programs to full Division I membership. The core mission of the
Blue & Gold Club is to provide the
student-athletes with scholarship assistance. Since 2002 (see chart
below), scholarship funding has dramatically increased through the
transition. Your support is essential to fielding successful teams.

Blue & Gold Club Benefits
By joining the Blue & Gold Club, you get involved in NC
Athletics. You will meet coaches, student-athletes and fans and
have an opportunity to work with Club members to promote NC
Athletics. The Blue & Gold Board is committed to providing
opportunities to deserving student-athletes and has structured the
benefit package to maximize grant-in-aid funds available to
student-athletes.
How does athletic grant-in-aid benefit a top athletic
program?
Grant-in-aid funds provided by the Blue & Gold Club allow UNC
student-athletes to pursue a quality education at one of the
region's top universities.
The Blue & Gold Club helps UNC student-athletes maintain a
level of athletic and academic excellence that makes the
university, its alumni and fans proud. The tradition of excellence
in academics and athletics will continue as UNC plays on a national
